For those whose sole mission in life is “to be happy” I’d suggest the following. Growth, learning, and development are the result of resistance, struggle, conflict, courage, and hard work. Concepts and practices that aren’t typically associated with, well, happiness. These are great teachers though. Perhaps the best you’ll ever have—if you pay attention. If you’re willing to fight. It might be useful seek them out and face them instead merely wanting “to be happy.” You’ll find happiness along the way along with a myriad of other useful emotions too. All of which are valid. The Runaway Meet Jordin. She likes coffee, Shakespeare, and sunny days at a park. I met Jordin my sophomore year at college when she was a Freshmen and she quickly became one of my favorite ladies of all time. She is hands down one of the sweetest girls I have ever met and yet a complete and total badass. Extremely kind, funny, and a bundle of sunshine in my life. Jordin was my scene partner for ACTF this year and I could not have asked for a more supportive and loving partner. She and I are way too obnoxious when we are together but I love it. So good to have a beautiful soul in my life! boop be doo, Kimo B)

The Creeper Meet Carl. He likes accounting, hairy men, and has a fancy for cats. I met Carl while auditioning for my first play at school and we ended up hanging out all throughout senior year. Carl goes to Notre Dame and follows people around with umbrellas to creep them out….I know. Carl and I share the same type of dark humor but he always surprises me every once in a while with something that is too far even for me. Regardless I love this bastard with all my heart and I am so glad I got to see him before he goes back to Indiana. This guy is completely ridiculous and I love spending time with him. The Italian, Meet Tom. He likes reading, biking, and does not understand sarcasm. I met Tom while I worked in the shop last year…we wouldn’t get anything done because we would be laughing too hard. Tom is a great friend with a heart of gold. Extremely insightful and kind. He drinks white wine all of le times with me even though he does not necessarily enjoy it. Also has a twin. I don’t know if I would be able to handle two Toms because it would be too much awesomeness in one room. Anyways, Tom is a pretty cool guy. Stay golden Ponyboy, -Kimo B)
